1977 Jeep Cherokee - gotmike

it's a monster... started out as a 92 dodge w250 w/ the cummins, NV4500, NP205, Dana 60 front, and Dana 70 rear...and became a 77 jeep cherokee... it has made it's way into the january '08 issue of reader's rides it's basically the stock dodge suspension w/o any sway bars i've built custom tube bumpers front and rear with matching sliders... the project took me two weeks for the main body swap and everything done i've done myself, with the occasional help of a few friends (thanks guys).  i'm soon hoping to spool the rear end with an OX locker up front... and a 12,500 lb winch...  and some more upgrades to the engine...  the license plates even came as 2DWG without being chosen that way... oh yeah... did i forget to mention that i've grafted in the factory dodge gauges and steering column with cruise control... converted it from an auto to the 5 speed installed toyota bucket seats up front and a ford expedition adjustable back seat... i've got a pioneer head unit with a specialized RF modulator for my MP3 player with an Alpine amp and 2 jbl 12" subs behind the rear seat... the cobra CB is mounted under the stereo and i've still got the 4WD/wait to start panel set into the glove compartment door...
