It started out as a work truck and turned into this, a big ass lifted, heavy monster, and still working on it.
It has a "Slightly Mexineered" 355cid making about 350 HP, and the same treatment done to the 700R4 behind it with a custom torque converter (to keep from burning them out)K&N Air Filter and Dual 3" flowmasters to let the engine breath.
Front Suspention is a 6" Dick Cepec, again Mexineered but has a really nice ride to it, custom springs in the rear, only the long springs to keep a soft ride with air bags to make up for the weight I put in the back, RS9000 all theway around for adjustability.
In the front it has an stock open diff from a 3/4 truck IFS 4.10 gears(pain in the ass to put in but no longer going through diffs every other month) rear is custom "Valdez Racing" (from Ensenada, Mex) Ford 9" with detroit locker and 4.11's Disc brakes all around with Wilwood calipers to stop this 5.5 ton beast
Riding on 35" Procomp AT's and 15 x 10 american
racing wheels, custom spare carrier in the bed, along with tool box under the tire carrier..
Custom Fiberglass work on the rear fenders, and at this time its back in the paint shop getting a new paint job.. havent decided how fancy, but it'll look nice when its done, so we can go thrash it up again and start all over..
Thinking of ditching the IFS and going to strait axel for strenth but honestly I have no complaints for the IFS, nice ride and great ground clearance.. so its still up in the air on that one
All around its been a fun project so far, and my son can't wait to drive it.
