About my Ranger

Hi everybody, probably you won't see often a truck like this, not because of how it's built, but for WHERE it's built.... it's the Ranger Thay edition that is sold here in Europe, in s.e. Asia and Australia, by the name Courier most of the time...
I have to say that compared to what is available in the U.S., well, you know, it's nothing special, but here in Italy, it's a lot...
You know, here in Italy there aren't much trucks (i'm talking of the serious ones) around, and i'm trying my best to keep up the good attitude that i've learned by magazines like OFFROAD.
Thank you all for the inspiration and the good times that you give me everytime i check this site and the magazine...
God Bless America,

Max

OH, i almost forgot, few days ago i was reading an old issue of Off Road and i saw the article about your truck...

Outstanding It's amazing how much work there's behind it...

But if i can ask you something, that isn't your daily driver right?
I immagine arriving at the office with that beast... that's a commute ride!!

I guess that  i would really copy it if i was in the US

Cheers fellas

sorry man that i didn't answered you before, but i had my laptop "melted"...

BTW, yep, in Italy you can't do nothing or at least nothing compared to the US...
There are lots of laws (it makes me laugh) and i think it's  kind of a lobby, because only if u are a big company (read it FIAT the only one In italy) you can do almost what u want... but We,common people, well that's a different story.
And also there are not much components, expecially for this one... you can find stuff for Wranglers, Defenders and some Toy, and that's it.
I know, that suck A LOT...
But maybe one day i will turn mad, jump on a plain, go to Cali and get a nice 2000 Ranger XLT 4.0 with some mods straight from the US...

Really? You can't modify vehicles in Italy? Coming from a country that builds vehicles like the Ferrari and Lambo I would think modding wouldn't be a problem... that sucks...

Hey, thanks a lot man i really appreciate, expecially by someone that own such a piece of mechanical art...
I mean if i ever do something like that here in italy the cops will:
1) make a chocolate key
2)lock me up with that key
3)eat the key
Just for let you understand how hard it's here to modify a truck...
By the way  THANKS AGAIN!!!
(hope my english is not too bad)
